President & CEO

Gus Jepsen is the President and CEO of Systematic Wealth Management, where he leverages over 15 years of industry experience to deliver a tech-forward, client-centric approach to wealth management.

Gus has a proven track record working with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and institutional investors. He was instrumental in building a rapidly growing Denver-based Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) practice, which was ultimately acquired by a private equity-backed group. His diverse client roster has included entrepreneurs, executives, former State Governors, and senior members of Congress.

Driven by a passion for sustainability, he earned an MSc in Carbon Finance from the University of Edinburgh. Following graduation, he collaborated with leading academics on projects ranging from fossil fuel divestment strategies to the development of natural capital data products for institutional investors. His expertise in sustainable finance has led him to speak at the University of Stockholm’s Center for Sustainable Finance, serve as a member of the TNFD Data Lab, and consult for European governments. This unique background enables him to provide valuable insights into sustainable and impact investments for his clients.

Outside the office, Gus is an avid adventurer. He has bikepacked the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, rafted the Grand Canyon, snowboarded in the Canadian Rockies, Alps, and Japan, and completed multiple expeditions in the central Alaska Range. He resides with his wife and son in his hometown of Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
