Title

Title is the legal right of ownership to property or assets—such as land, real estate, vehicles, or intellectual property—which entitles the holder to use, control, and transfer those rights to others. In real estate, holding title means you have a recognized legal claim and the “bundle of rights” to the property, including possession, exclusion, and disposition. Title can be transferred or documented through legal instruments like deeds, but title itself is the concept of ownership, not the paper.
